This A.O. leads to a paper that requires an in-depth study of an approach to group therapy. Your paper should deal with aspects such as: (1) key concepts of your approach, (2) the role of the group leader, (3) role of group members, (4) key developmental tasks and therapeutic goals, (5) techniques and methods, and (6) stages in the evolution of this kind of group.
Focus will be on Existential Therapy in group therapy and use humanistic therapy and client-centered therapy for contrast and comparison.
You will also present recent evidence on the efficacy of such groups, by examining at least 10 research articles published in peer-reviewed journals in the past five years. (These are the 10 previously found and used on the Research assignment)
